Friday, August 18, 2023 1 am - The guilt is killing me, probably I should die. But not before I find a cure! 10 am - Test no 559 - Status : FAILED. Subject did not recover from the infection. Will increase the incubation period for the vaccine. 3 pm - A meeting was called by the new mayor, Anuj Sharma. He wanted us to experiment on the energy conversion matrix with the fallen bodies in the morgue. It was given as a hypothesis by a mad physicist few years ago, where he experimented on his pet cat with a virus that acts as a catalyst for the energy conversion. He was partially successful in harvesting the energy from his subject, but at the cost of his humanity. He was then soon executed by the then government due to his malpractice. 7 pm - These are difficult times it's been few months that all the states and their capitals have become independent entities. The municipal corporation is the new governing head of our state and the Mayor now holds powers equivalent to that of the Prime Minister. 11 pm - I shouldn't have worked on that virus, after all I was the assistant of that mad scientist, but I left the job as soon as I found out he was heading for human trials. After the first infection, the virus has mutated to such an extent that non of my previous strains yielded positive results. 11:45 pm - Now I have to continue the stained legacy of my ex boss and also bear the guilt of the virus. It's time to kill my humanity.
