Lockdown Logs - Log 2

Updated: Jun 26, 2021

Friday, June 13, 2025 1:30 am - I listen to the passing of time, while life gets squeezed out of my body. 3 am - I stop and do nothing, well nothing actually happens, I just sit and wait for my turn to travel. 3:30 am - I want this to end. The pain is unbearable and the suffering is worse. 10 am - The drugs worked their magic, I feel nothing well physically, mentally I was at the nothing station since this society abandoned me and declared that I am a lost cause after I was infected. 1 pm - I am finally allowed to travel, probably the last ride of my life. 3 pm - We are being transported to the island of the dead. It is the place where the municipal corporation sends cases like ours so they can keep the city free from us. But we all know it's just a way to get rid of people like us, so the creme de la creme can survive in their virus free biosphere. It doesn't matter to them, if the population was reduced to a few thousands, or the programs and measures failed, or that many of us lost our families and our right to live as humans. We are just unfortunate survivors of unfortunate sectors who are taken by a contractor whose job is to drug us and then infect us with COVID-23, then we are sent off to an island to die. All this in the hopes of establishing herd immunity. Atleast they allow us to die in peace.

Well put. I was transported back to the times when people infected with deadly diseases were packed off to remote islands and /or sealed in caves to die a slow, painful death w/o food & water. All this so that the rest of the population could be saved.
